Abbey Dabbey petsitting business was started by Elda and her daughter Marielle Abbey in Rio Rancho, NM in 2002. What is in the name? "Abbey" is our last name, "Dabbey" just to rhyme. We moved back to Texas in 2004, now residing in Boerne, where our business has continued to thrive. In September 2008, Marielle celebrated her marriage and moved to Dripping Springs.

Katie Lucas joined Abbey Dabbey Pet Sitters in July 2009. Katie has been a resident of Boerne for 18 years and is the first graduating class of Champion High School Class of 2009. As of now she is going to school at San Antonio College but still resides in Boerne with her mother and sister along with her 2 dogs and 2 cats. She donates and has volunteered her time at the local animal shelter and has adopted 2 pets to join her family from there. Katie also works for St. John Lutheran Church as well as St. Helena Episcopal Church in the nursery watching children. References available upon request.

This is Tequila (Tequie) as a puppy. She is a very smart dog and won our hearts with her cute personality. As you can tell we love Cocker Spaniels, we had 10 at one time!

Paul Roberts joined Abbey Dabbey Pet Sitters in August 2009. Not too long after Paul had retired from a career as a Chemical Engineer with DuPont he decided to start a pet sitting business in Victoria, Texas. The business proved to be successful during five years with many well established accounts and happy pets. Shortly before Paul moved to San Antonio, he donated the business to his loyal pet sitting staff.
